How To Make Hot Sauce With Beer

I got the big game coming up this Sunday so I wanted to make something that I can use for a variety of ways. So here’s how to make hot sauce with beer using Sixpoint The Crisp. I will definitely use this hot sauce with beer for buffalo wings, nachos and everything else! Can I get a Hell Yes?

2 tbs olive oil
5 red jalapenos chopped
2 serrano chilies chopped
5 cloves of garlic, minced
12 oz Pilsner
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbls rice wine vinegar
1/2 tsp sugar
Heat sauté pan on high and add the olive oil until about 375 degrees or just before it starts to smoke. Lower the heat to medium and add the jalapenos and serranos until the peppers have softened, stirring occasionally. Add the garlic and cook for no more than 3 minutes. Add the beer, paprika, salt, sugar and vinegar and simmer on medium low for 10 minutes.

Cool sauce in an ice bath for ten minutes or allow to cool naturally for 20 minutes.

Place the cooled sauce in a food processor and blend until smooth.

Bottle it!

Put that shit on everything!


If you are sensitive to chili peppers/capsaicin please use proper ventilation when making this recipe.  Open a window, use your range hood, wear a damp bandana over your nose and mouth, anything to help you avoid the potential capsaicin cloud. I did not experience that at all when filming BUT its better to be safe.  With that said if you make this recipe you are doing so at your own risk.
